Erm ... fitting the manifold is a B*tch as there's not alot of room to manoveur her in even with the inlet manifold removed, but it's not impossible.

I was a lazy funker and paid for it to be done by my local specialist (who happens to be the funking nuts !!); around £100 to have the whole system fitted and a few other odds and sods. That may seem steep but I'm past blood, sweat and tears with my cars if I can afford to get someone else to do it !!

Are they fairly easy to fit then?

Jack the front of the car up as high as you can (i get mine onto stands then jack it up again with blocks on the jack so i can get the axle stands right up  :smug:)  drop the anti-roll bar off its mounts (couple of nuts) and it'll go in from underneath without too much trouble.   Working out the angle to put it in at is the hardest part so try and remember how you got the old one out and start from there

Sounds like a job for ryoungmk1gti! (my trusty mechanic)

Got a 4 into 1 stainless full system and oh boy does it go like stink! Great response throughout rev range and best of all at low revs when you floor it, it purrs and growls (bit like a scooby) and sounds amazing. Made mine sound like there was more than a 16v under the bonnet, great racing sound and power

What system sis it you have? magnex? coz its quality of sounds that I am after!
