Had to witness and bear bad news for a fellow dubber today
Cruising back from London (Don't Ask) I stopped in Sedgemoor Services just outside of Bristol and what should be sat there? An "F" Reg Driver tarted up to look like a GTi with the hood open
Being the good, honest bloke that I am, I parked up next to him and offered I assistance. Turns out that the hose that feeds the heater matrix had split, chucking all of the water out over the road....this had been bodged using duck tape and was holding however on turning the key, the noise was horrific!!!
So I had a goosey and lifted off the oil filler cap to find the telltale mayo that we all dread......the head gasket had gone leaving this poor young couple stranded on their way to their first holiday away together.
A sorry day all round really.....another dub RIP
