Wow, it was really good, so many dubs, that Green Bug - WOW!

I saw Si's Cab, and opposite that red mk2 with a 1.8T conversion.

I found loads of inspiration and really can't wait for the next one, even with the 120-130 mile round trip

Oh yeah, as I got home my alternator warning light started flashing, so popped the bonnet and low and behold, my fan belt had shrunk to a quarter (or less) of its normal size...

Other than that, it was great, I need to go around with a t-shirt saying Stevie-M GolfGti.co.uk and maybe I'll get to meet you lot next time...

One other thing, I have converted my mate to wanting a Mk1 as a project car!!!

Felt sorry for Paul (SlammedMk2) poor sod, he had to drive back to MK, pick up his truck and head back to London -  :shocked: , but it pays for the Mk2 I suppose!

Oh and i got back and managed to get the colossal bird poop off, had to use a hammer and chisel, dunno what the thing had been eating!
