Another DV question!!

Ive got the forge DV fitted just wanted to ask you guys who have the same, do you find the thin pipe at the top is a little stretched??? Do i nned to replace the hose with a samco type one or something?????

yeah it is stretched. i think samco do a replacement but the stock one is fine as long as it hasnt cracked.

Yep, it's a tighter fit.  My stock one was a bit old & brittle, & kept splitting when I tried to force it on.  I gave Forge a ring, & they very kindly sent me a length of slicon to use instead. :smiley:

Had the same problem with mine...
2 hoses (bottom and side) came out eventually. Clips holding them in place were a bugger to get off.
The top hose came off easily but would go back in as it had become brittle...If you can't or don't want to wait for a replacement hose, just goto a decent cat spares shop like german and swedish where you can pick up some new hose and clips..
Add a bit a soapy water and it should just slide in...Don't overdo the water though..

I got it on, eventually!!! just wondered if it was ok with a stretch.... prob will need somthing silicon though, seems a very light crack here n there.. cheers for the help lads!!
