Christmas Spirit
« on: 04 December 2003, 04:00 »
Am I the only one having a hard time getting into the Christmas spirit this year? I swear if it wasn't for the kids I wouldn't bother with a tree even. I think this year just went too fast. Can we go ahead and go back to about june and start again. I think I just need a vacation maybe it is time to go spend a month at the parents house or something.

Bah humbug!!

Gotta agree though, its not like when I was a kid, Christmas used to last for weeks!! The build up, the event, and the weeks off school playing with your toys!!!

When you start having to pay for Christmas, somehow the fun goes out of it! I don't have the expense of Children, but I do have a wife that likes Tiffany jewellery and Prada handbags, so I'm f*cked either way.

The greatest leveller of them all - the Carousel
