I was a VW virgin! well up until an hour ago

Well the deed has been done i`ve bought a belter of a golf. Gone for the GT TDI (hope i`m welcome in here seeing as its a diesel  :wink:). It`ll be coming home to roost in Bolton on wednesday and I can`t wait. Think I got meself a bargain its an 03 done 60k loads of extras and I gave 7K for it. Please be gentle and tell me its a bargain :laugh:. Well there`s questions to be asked so i`ll get postin.

Some well known people round here have had diesels. As well as Fezza's and Scoobies! :rolleyes:

Welcome mate, the diesel Mk4's rock man. A remap, filter and zorst will see 180bhp+ and at least 300 lb/ft. Get some coilovers on it and you'll have a surprisingly effective cross-country weapon.
