Unless you are capable of doing a small local repair yourself, on an otherwise good wheel, your best bet is to leave it to the pro's, If you have wheels that are just painted silver, without any polished areas, but are corroded, have them media blasted, sand out any kerbing marks, and get them off to an enameler's, and they should come out looking like new, for not much $$$$ If you have painted and polished rims that need a total refurb, get them professionally done, but ask them NOT to Lacquer the polished portion of the rim.. its the lacquer that does the damage, when it gets chipped, water gets under, and starts the corrosion process all over again, instead keep the polished part clean with Autosolve, and a light coating of Vaseline
