Hi All.....
Finally found myself a reasonably decent MK2 Golf. Been wantin one of these for ages but Mr Insurance man said NO!..... until NOW
89 GTi 16v
Ive just bought some crosshairs, new plates and stuck a sunband on there.... so far anyway.... got a RAMair induction kit and debadged 2 headlight grill on the way.

My Brother in law is in the process of getting his project up and running, this is what mad me want a golf in the first place...
85 GTi 8v
Half mill overbore, new pistons, shells, lightened crank, High lift cam, new injectors, oil and water pumps. Doesnt look like much at the minute but it runs sweet as a nut....

Never thought of even doin that :smug:. What sort of prices are we talking here?? I was thinking of getting a used set in the scrappy and getting them painted but this might be more economical in the long run.
