Folks,
I have a1995 8V GTI. The engine is running stong, but has a noticeable vibration at idle (900 rpm). The plugs looks good...any other possibilities?
Also, the VW 165 Km inspection found a small hole in the exhaust system. They say I need to replace the entire system. I think there must be a way to patch the hole...any suggestions? I would replace with an aftermarket exhaust system, but it would need to be quiet, as I am often on the phone for business on the highway, also I dont want it to be too loud on long trips going 180km/h on the autobahn. Are there any product suggestions?
