Torque wrenchs i need to order 1 today but what sort do i need to do head bolts?

as ive seen different sorts with different numbers!

its a 1.8gti engine

help asap please :smiley:

Most torque wrenches to Nm and Lb measurements.  Just check the Haynes for the head bolt settings and make sure that the torque wrench you buy covers this range.

Most common is FT. LBS.
You can also pick up Inch. Lbs which is for smaller torque mearsurements.
And then NM which is a different type of measurement. I would look in a manual to see what kind of measurement it is asking you, and buy accordingly.  :smiley:
