new golf.....facelift!?

been trawling the old internet and found some pics of a golf mk6 or a facelift of current model!!.....anyone got any more details on this...dates...specs etc? don't want to buy a new gti if a new is just round the corner, would appreciate any help on this....thanks

The facelift Golf MK V will be here in 2007. Basically the same but will have front end of Jetta / simlar to R32 with chrome grille etc.

Specification of GT (not GTI) has already changed. As of about three weeks ago, the GT now comes with bigger wheels and 170 ps TDI available. Current GT model now downgraded to Sport.

So VMD, will the GTI have the new face lift as well??  Won't they all look like the R32 then?

Just wondering vwmain dealer do you mean 2007 model year  or 2007 calender year?
