BUT its tooo dear - I'd cough up the extra 2k and buy a GTi!

looks like a good car, with what looks like a hell of an engine( on paper at least) but looks to be too expensive, I would rather pay extra for a Gti, but I think it will be very popular, cheaper running costs.

I'm not convinced... all sounds really good, but with a supercharger AND a turbo the possibility of things going wrong in 5-10 years are greater.  Also, I wonder if VW have sorted out the supercharger or is it still as fragile as the one on the G60.

hmm i reckon they would have done extensive tests on it but as has already been said an extra 2k would get you a GTI

The Charger their using is an eaton e24 same as on the copper S mini's i think so should be stronger than
the g-lader

I like the look of the TDi, 170bhp and stacks of tourque, stick a remap on that and I recon it would be amazing :undecided:

as long as it don't shred the front tyres every time you pull off!!!  i sometimes have probs with my stock 130... :embarassed:
