as some of you know ive been sorting my car since she went pop and since the new bottom end and fully condition head has be rebuilt and running its been very hard to get her to run correctly and smooth.co's have been all over the place the timing is ok but cos of all the head work she never will be sweet.
so ive now booked her in to stealth for a complete tune and a chip on the 13th of may saturday morning!!yipeeeeeeeee!

it has been ported polished and gas flowed with a big fat cam with an adjustable vernia aswell i dont have the first idea what im doing when it gets this far!!!i can build them and fit them and make them run but when you put the 2ltr under a 18 head things have to be just right and after wrecking the last engine i thought it would be a good idea to get it running schweet by peeps that know what they are doing which is why when me and nic go to big bang and stanford hall mine will probably stay at home shes not pinking which is nice and she running rich so i shouldnt do any harm untill the 13th of next month which is when she goes in!!!looking forward to it!
i did buy one of those plug in performance chips off ebay just to give it ago and they work well but im gonna take it off and put it back to stock for the tune up and the remap.

Sweet... I fitted a new head to my last golf, Got the timing slightly out.. took it to my Mk2 guy and he got it spot on an tuned her up.. The car has never run so well.. its worth spending the cash to get them running right..
