if the window goes up & stops, goes up & stops etc, its because the motor thinks something is blocking the window and is stopping it.  lube up all the channels with proper silicone lube, can get it from halfords.

If it doen't work at all and the reset method don't help, have a look in the rubber bellows between the door & body, check for broken wires.  Factory MK3 windows shopuld have auto up & down, the Corrado loom i fitted to my MK2 Does

P.S. check if your kit is a proper factory system, and not after-market, this may be the difference!
P.P.S. Woo I have a medal

Ours is the same as yours, 1 touch down but not up. I hunted through manuals etc and from memory I am sure it was an option to go back up.  I can't guarantee this but I am as sure as 10 sure things that I read that in the handbook somewhere.

i've had this problem for years now.......still looking for a solution

passenger side works fine but drivers side goes down fully using the auto feature but not fuly up. it goes up either part way then baqck down abit or right up then partly back down.

have tried the resetting relay suggestion but hasn't worked for me.

i'm considering buying a new switch but don't want to waste my money so is it likely/unlikely to be the switch???

do you have to remove the door trim to do this or can you do it without too much messing around by 'squirting' stuff between window and rubber?

i think if you wind the window right down and spray some silcone lube down the channels this should do the job.  Halfords sell the stuff in a spray tin and it works well :)

My L reg Golf gti on the drivers side the window goes up and down on one touch but the passenger side only goes down on one touch. But when i open it if i unlock it and then turn the key back the otherway fully all the windows go down. I thought this was quite weird

I think thats a safetly feature, my corrado 1 touch windows are the same.  The windows all open/shut on the key due to the cool total closure system, it should also work on the sunroof I think?  8)
