all my neighbours are about 80 years old and have the hearing ade's turned right up, phone the police if you cough too loud. the amont of times ive had the police round when me and my mates been working on cars is rediculous. everytime i open the garage door you can see all the curtains twitchin. old fools. i think they actually belive i run a chop shop out of my house.

I park next to Peugeot 205 in a basement car park at work. Each time I pull to reverse in this Fcuk alarm goes mental till turn the engine off.

lol thas nice muppetsport ;)

My badboy rumbles like a beast! When I go college in the mornings mine sets off car alarms at a distance! 8) ;D

When the car is idle it has a kind of spit fire noise that comes from the centre bit but its not blowing. Is this normal or could it be the manifold-to-exhaust gasket?

as in ever other second or so it makes a spitting sound? if so check gaskets. ive been told the manifolsd ones go quite a lot on golfs. could be just a join in the exhaust though not sealed properly. if you look under the car you will be able to tell as there will be a patch of black carbon round an exhaust join. loosen clamp, push tighter together and use exhaust sealer round the joint. should stop it
