Oil temperature sensor

Hi

I need to replace the oil temperature sensor on my 92 8v, anyone know where I can find out the part number or should the friendly people at VW be able to help me without it?

They'll be able to dig it out for you no bother, but check the part number post at the top of this page:
049 919 563 A - oil temp sensor for MFA - 1pin, white - £12.19
