Ive loved golfs for years, a friend at work had a similar GTi to ive just bought and loved them ever since.
Compared to vauxhall they're sooooo much better, better build, stronger, nicer interior etc etc etc
So i picked a gti (all be it 8v) the 16v's were a bit out of my budget, but the 8v seems to pull nice enough.
its done 98000, had new gearbox, throttle body, battery, new tyres etc. Got it for £1200 so seems a clean one for the price.
Not got many plans, lower it, exhaust, and a bit of paint work needed, other than that its staying standard!
