rallye fault with the rear hub metal fracture!.....

i found this years ago and on a chat with my mates this popped up. i remembered the site and did a google and found it again.....

has anyone else ever heard of this....

it sounds like the rear hub may have had a bang and fractured the hub which caused this. i'm not sure if its a vw design fault otherwise all vw front wheel hubs would have this problem!

Yep heard of it but the only place anyone has ever been able to give me to verify it is that one site! As it is by no means an unbiased view i take it all with a pinch of salt. Plus i have never heard of it happening anywhere...
