As u know i'm a complete novice,the talk of ratios just sails over my head ???!All i want to know is what would work best in a mk1 cabby n What would give me the best bhp?

Gotta join in on Dizzies 20V dance. Grab the engine and tranny from a bent TT and have fun. come on it's only money. they give you more every payday. :)

Ok then 1.8T TT 225 bored out to 2 litres with front wheel drive seat cupra R six speedbox with limited slip diff.

to save a few phone calls...

dubsport - ?4500+vat
stealth - ?5500
Midland VW - ?3500
TSR - ?6000

rough figures though
drive in drive out prices. the TSR one has 230bhp and the rest have 200bhp. in a '87 mk2 golf. aparently the fuelling system is better on the k-jet engines than the digi. but the loom needs more work.
