Hi All!

I thought i'd come and have a look at the forum, and while I'm at it try to introduce myself!

I live in nottingham and drive a Tornado Red Mk2 Golf valver (89/G) - small bumpers - yum yum  :grin:


I've been to Inters for the last couple of years and am dead chuffed that it's moving to Leicestershire - hurrah! Also went to the GTi Track show at Donington last summer..

..erm, what else?

I like my golfs the way Wolfsburg intended, and aspire to be something like this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Golf2_16v_showcar.JPG  :evil:. I like tasteful VAG mods and swaps, but can't cope with flip paint and halfords alloys  :cry: (remember that TV advert with a crying modded Mk4?!)

Oh yes - I'm actually not a paid up member of Club GTi just yet!  After racing a Mk3 valver near mansfield on Sunday - who was sporting a Club GTi sticker! - I thought it about time I got myself one ;) ...what do I need to join up?

Usually an anal implant. That implant being your head wedged firmly up your own backside.

To join this club however, you need nothing but a VAG motor, and a sense of humour.

Hello m8 nice to see you like the 16v's..such a revvy engine, especially good in a mk1!!!! :wink:
But alas, im not keeping it, check out my project mk1 golf pics when i get a page sorted on here!

So who comes from around Nottingham direction then?

Do you guys do meet-ups at shows and stuff then?

I'm planning on being at Inter's for at least one of the days (prob sat)... Probably also go to BugJam for a bit more of a party (ie to get wrecked and wander around like an idiot at a festival!)
