Well everyones experience is gonna be different but heres mine!
- GL 1.8 w/rolled arches & generic no-name 5-spoke 17s.
- Harsher ride with passengers.
- Tyres gouged from speed bumps.
- Handling surprisingly not that great.
- Looked BRILLIANT!
Could have been that the alloys were cheap, could be my inexperience, but still one of the rims got slightly warped so that was it for me - I was kind of glad in a way. I wussed out and got some 14" genuine VAG alloys instead. It still has a really sporty look but a bit more subtle, I'm much more comfy and handing / accelerations have improved so I'm a happy geeza. Still get very jealous when I see people with 17s though because they look so damn cool!!!
