lol Im struggling for wheels at the moment.  I was going to purchase some BBs Ra but these are prolly cheper with new tyres and there brand new lol.

They remind me of the BBS *unsure of model*

Best advice I can give is to save up and get what you really want, or else 6 months down the line you are gonna regret it.

Good call Mate... But my tyres are almost dead and the price i'd pay for 4 new tyres isjust short of what i'd pay for the wheels with new tyres anyway.  

May just get them and 6 mths down the line flog them for a set of BBS Ra.

you only tend to get budget tyres on the cheap package deals though, probably last you till you drive to the end of the road!! get some cheap tyres to last you till you can afford the wheels and tyres you really want - just got my wheels (well two of 'em - long story) and conti-sport tyres, so pleased I waited now - they look fantastic

what wheels did you get mate?

The tyres supplied are Conti Rainsports I purchased a set of Compomotive Mo's (from the same place, same tyres etc) for my corsa a while back and took that rallying Up rivington pretty much every night till the car blew up The tyres were well up to the Job and did me proud.

Just been looking at www.mytyres.co.uk and roughly its going to cost ?160 for a full set of 4 tyres *budget jobbies*  185/60/14

I think i'm going to take your advice and wait for a neat set of BBS Rs and keep the golf standard.  

On the off chance do you know the width of the BBS Ra wheels?
