I got a similar feature in mine, but it was from where the drainage hole had got blocked through to the wheel arch and the water was overflowing through the steering column.  Opened the bonnet, pushed the leaves and crud away from the hole and then got about 2ltrs of water onto my feet.

You should start breeding your own fish at this rate

If it is a 90 mph per hour wind and you drive your car at 90mph downwind, if you stick your head outside would you feel the wind?

Check the seal on the windscreen as well a little rot under there will let water in - but not that much. Looks like as above a problem with the drainage plug. Get some stiff but flexable wire or a thin plastic rod and push up from the wheel arch and then down repeat a few times and then flush through with a little water and see the crud come out (boiling water is good to start with or use some live yogurt as this will eat any leaf mulch / crud)

also greese any gromits near the drainage hole as the back wash probably got into the foor well through them. Also do it quickly as the water would also have dripped down the back of the fuse box - over time will cause problems with relays and wiring (one dead fuel pump relay in my own experience).
