my mk3 8v
« on: 04 April 2006, 12:49 »
hello
i bought a `95 mk3 8v just wondered if this was good or not?

came with full heated leather interior

bodywork is very tidy

has done 150,000 miles tho

it has been lowered by 60mm(or more)

and has a powerflow exhaust

apart from that it all seems good just a little slow for my liking so am tempted to play with the engine a bit but wasnt sure if it was worth it or not.

i paid £1000 for it, not sure if that was a good price or not tho:(

seems like a fair price. 150k isn't a real problem so long as it's been looked after...

seems like a good price. did it come with service history ?
before you play with it, why not give it a good service to see if that quickens it a bit...?

im new to golfs so not sure where to start

sounds like a decent price, especially with heated leather etc. dont let mileage bother you if its got a history. im sure they have been known to go on a lot longer than that. cant help a huge amount with engine tuning but have a search through this page or use the search thing at the top, im sure you'll find a few ideas

thats the best mk3 ive seen..ever! its just clean and subtle..
