there are already shirts that you can buy, and i am sure you can then take it somewhere and have your name printed on the back. I think most people already know me now, but i do make the effort to say hello if there is a new person floating around the stand to find out who they are, sod it if you make a fool of yourself, it's all a good crack.

I have show plates, just with my username on, just same as uk plates. Nothing special, but lets you know whos the car is.

Yea chances are that unless ur on the stand ur not going to be stood with ur car so have the plate on to show who's car it is like u say and then I'll prob get a poloshirt so people will know. Thats how i recongnised JV and topher ultimate dubs!

i don't think thats a bad idea but would be a pain in the ass for one person to sort out, so should be up to the individual member.

but this is also why i was trying to push a bit of golfgti.co.uk merchandise.... not only does it allow for the site to be paid for it also lets us identify ourselves. if you look at some of the other 'clubs' they go all out to shout about who they are and we're a bit more reserved(?) on here?!

i think this is a great site and am proud to be part of it! i was thinking of designing a new forum t-shirt that wasn't cheesy or naff but would still be able to show that we're part of this forum.... and a t-shirt that you wouldn't be embarressed to wear down the pub!
team grumpy....... its a way of life, not a forum post

Well I've got MADONE number plates already, I just forget to bring them and put on the car, saying that I can't even be arsed to clean my car at shows... so bad of me hehehe, I will at big shows promise?!!

I'm all up for club t-shirts, but they have to have a cool design on the back... but I'm sure after meeting me and Lewy you won't forget us quickly!!! just ask a few people from ed38 show last year!!! - bring on the summer shows of 2006...

Lewy have to ask was that your boy friend you brought with on sunday - you two look like a nice couple....
