thanks vaughny, I would have said hi to a few more people if I knew what people looked like. Didn't wana look like a numpty just going up to random people saying who are you?  :embarassed: I'm shy too! Was a good day though and there were some mint cars around. I'm mainly pleased that mine made it all the way there from Leeds and back with no breakdowns!! The wind and rain was scary though!!
I didnt realise it was you,(i was talking to slick when you came up to say goodbye)same as you didnt want to make a idiot of myself saying who are you

This was the first time I had been to to a gti festival and also first time at santa pod. Despite the weather being really annoying (I hate the wind) me and my mate had a great day. It was his first dub show of any kind and he's already looking forward to the next one. As most other people have said the trade presence was a bit lacking, I went with a great big list and the only thing I bought all day was a gearstick gaiter for my girlfriends driver!!! All in all an enjoyable start to the season.
Cheers to Slick for sorting out the club area, it's soooo much better being able to park closer to the action, especially when it starts pissing it down.
Cheers also for the comment on my motor Slick, I thought it looked filthy by the time I got to the show, roll on the dry weather.

You got any pics of your dad's split ?

i met joe+si at the servies (joe i always seem to meet you in odd places...) but i cant remember who the other three people were (a G60 and a mk4..)

lol

Twas I with the Mk4, and Kami with the G60.

Was a good day out and I'm glad I went, but I should've done a Gemma and cleaned the car, as I spent most of Saturday polishing, only to get 3 miles up the road and it was plasterd again - ah well. Mind you the rain washed most of the cr@p off anyway.

Good to catch up with Alex, Tesh, Paul and the convoy cronies, it was also good to see the w@nker in the Mk2 who decided to pass us on the way, stuck outside on the gate

I think next time we'll have to put names in the cars to tell people who you are, makes the 'hello I'm....' so much easier. I did it at ed38, maybe thats why people didn't speak to me!!!

Your forum name on a bit of paper in the fron window of the car is a good idea.

Thats a good idea too. But a bit expensive to expect everyone to do, but I like your style.
I just looked out for the big golfgti.co.uk banner that I saw last year, and then the peeps near it !
