black it hides the hideous amounts of wires golf engine bays seem to have :laugh:

I'd love to know of a quick way but i don't think it exists, it was a lot of work, I used wet & dry and wire wool to flatten it, then i buffed it up with polishing soaps & a mop  :wink:

I was so impressed with the soaps that I ordered some of this stuff to flatten the rest of the bits to be polished, it only turned up yesterday so i haven't tried it yet  :smiley:

UPDATE - I tried it out lastnight, its the shizzle  :cool: there is an easier way  :grin:

Well got the black manifolds fitted with the chrome rocker :smiley:

What's the verdict?  Personally I think it looks really good and a bit different:

Thanks Ross......got the black manifold set over a year ago on ebay....have 2 or 3 spares but the rest are polished or chrome now!

how easy is it to swap the manifold? how long does it take what fancy tools are required etc...
