How can I?
« on: 26 November 2003, 16:08 »
Has any1 seen the mk1 cab in max power? If not its got a vr6 engine in it! Question is how much will it cost me to get a vr6 engine and all necessary bits?

blimey mate, you've asked about doing a power hood, different dash and now a VR6 conversion. Your pockets must be lined with GOLD

I looked into this a few months back, but was warned off it, mate. The engine is too heavy and will mess the cars handling right up. This was from a guy who does all these conversions for a living - so I reckon he knew what he was talking about. He said to go for a 4 cylinder turbocharged effort instead
I don't own this anymore - I just can't be arsed to change the picture

Go for a 1.8T out of a new golf or an audi A3 \ seat leon \ ibiza \ skoda
they are lighter, theres loads more about and is an easier conversion with just as much fun in the end ;)

Any1 know where 1 of these engines can be sourced? price? etc.?
