New dash for mk1 cab

Looking to upgrade my dash in my mk1 cab any suggestions on what will fit in it? Also how much will it cost to get? Any ideas will help!?

PVW (I think)  have just done a bit on dash swaps, and they recomend this guy an holland, who for ?1000 will swap your dash and wire it all in (dash included). Takes a couple of weeks, but its a bargain - he put a TT dash into a golf (mk1 or 2 )

In a MK2 Rallye it was. Still dont know how he wired the speedo's?

Why not a mk4 polo dash in your mk1? ???

Try AwesomeGTi. They fitted a mk4 polo dash in a mk2. They should know abit more mate.

have u seen that black mk1 cab in maxpower, its got vr6 engine in it!!!! Also that f**king crazy nova with 2 turbo engines in it 1 in front 1 in back!!!! Madness :o If u havent, check it out!!!

I looked into a VR6 in my cab, but I heard it messes the handling right up, and was warned off it. Its just too heavy an engine. This came from a guy who runs a VW customising outfit for a living, so I reckoned he knew what he was talking about.

With a cab I wouldn't do the 6 swap. Nothing against the Cab but they are not as stiff chassis wise as a hard topped car. unless of course you croos tie the underbody and maybe come up with some sort of sub frame connectors. :)
