New member in Newcastle

Hi all,

My name is Chris and I live on the outskirts of Newcastle Upon Tyne.

I have joined the forum as I have recently started Road Rallying in a Mk3 Driver having previously been competiting in various Fords and Vauxhalls.

I run my own business supplying competition parts for most makes and models and also supplying newly manufactured classic car parts (mainly for Escort rally cars), custom made springs (non of your halfords rubbish), and race/rally transmission components etc.

Regarding the Driver I am on a steep learning curve, learning the problem areas (not many so far, fingers crossed) and finding out more about the car in general.

I live not far from newcastle too, most people on here are from the south (I think?!?). Good to see a fellow north eastener!

Hi Robbo, the southerner thing seems to be the case on a lot of the forums.

I am also a member of the oldskoolford forum from the old Escorts and I think there are only three or four of us on there.

Whereabouts are you? I am near Whitley Bay.

I probably shouldn't complain to much about the shandy brigade, I lived down there for a while and some of them know where I live.

Suppos as I am new on here I should also skip the "sand dancer" comment.
