decks for decked?
« on: 27 March 2006, 16:48 »
I have a problem! I love my golf, but sick of her looking like a 4x4, I had the cash to lover her until mother play a guilt trip on me, which ended up me paying back her money I owe her! now skint again with nothing in my pockets I am thinking of selling my beloved decks to lower my Golf, but I love my Decks.

If I had a GTI i would sell the decks with out thinking cos i know it would be worth it, but as I currently have a driver I cant decided.

So people do i sacrifice my decks for a decked driver?

God loving golfs is a hard life.

You can get lowering springs for about £50 - Keep the decks

I want to make her stiffer too, not just low.  so thats why thinking about a kit.

Dinx - i am sure a bird cost more than springs, but i will bear it in mind

get some jubilee clips and put them around the springs to pull the coils together. put some heavy things in the boot to bring them together while you do the clips up. Lowered for free :D

ps. the above should not be attempted by anyone!
