I love the sure-footedness of 4WD, you can just throw them around and they'll rarely bite back - I reckon you'll drive it faster just 'cos you can.
Front wheel is fun, and a lot easier to manage, it makes for a lazier drive and pulls you round the corners nicely, especially good when the back end slides out
But for a proper edge of the seat thrill, you got to go with rear wheel drive, it'll keep you on your toes - I used to get the back end snaking in the first 3 gears on my old BMW.
It's horses for courses at the end of the day. What we need is something with a totally selectable drive system F/R/4WD
