Hi, I hope that someone can help, I have bought a gmax 80mm suspension kit for my 5dr 8v GTI I tried to fit the kit today but found that the springs wouldn't fit into the original rear spring cups, can you tell me if there are different diameter spring cups for different models, mine is a 1992 mk2 and the kit number is 40VW17L which is listed for the 1983-1991 mk2 8v, any help would be appriciated.
