Sorry gambit i did say i would look at mine to see if it comes off but my wife has just had a baby and i dont get any spare time any more.

The rotor arm is glued on at factory, so it depends if the original is still fitted.

should lift right off mate. Mine fell out the last time I changed the cap and rotor. Just snaps in place.

Thats because no-one bothers to glue a replacement on after the factory one is broken off.

Can't figure out why VW would glue it on there. Is it to sell special rotor arm glue? seriously where is it going to go. never took off a cap and said oh sh!te where did that thing go? lol.

They glued at factory, its not necessary to do it really.

All replacement rotor arms are interference fit and so dont need to be glued.
