Rotor Arm Removal

if i take the rotor arm off will i be able to remove the dust shield to get at the hall sender?

my rotor arm is glue on so im gonna have to break it off, i dont wanna break it off to find i still cant get the dust shield off

anybody no for sure on a 16v?

Not sure, but isn't it worth just changing the rotor arm anyway? they are only a few quid. You will not be able to re-use it as you will have to break it off.

yeah i know, ive ordered one anyhow seeing as they are cheap as chips. but i'll throw a wobbler if i break it off and the dust shield still dont budge.

I'm pretty sure you will need to remove the arm if you want to get the dust shield off.

If its the same as they 8V then you will need to remove the rotor arm. It should then simply lift off.

ill give it a go whenever its back from getting its barstwearding power steering rack fitted

new ISV, rotor arm & hall sender all waiting to go on, so if it still plays up after this, its getting burnt

The dust sheild is removable.

Park it in a peugeot dealers before you torch it, at least then its for a good cause.
