they were very close to the suspension when i put them on, could they be rubbing... or does it feel slightly more sluggish because they are so much fatter than the 205's...

certainly got more grip round corners, but feels slower accelerating :(

It would feel slower even without the rubbing, as the drag is dramtically increased.

May I ask why 235's?

They only put 225's on the R32!!!

ps Just keep your eye on the inner & outer edges of side walls for a bit, just ibn case.

pps And more 'un-sprung' weight ie wheels = slower progress.

the 235's came with the OZ super turismos... so i thought why not... they look PHAT... on the car, but im thinking about getting some 3mm spacers for the front as when i put them on i couldnt get my finger between the strut and the tyre... im getting them refurbed soo so ill ask the guys what they looklike when off.

mite have to get longer bolts tho!!!! muchos dollar $$

they are 235/45/17 pirelli p7000.... sticks to the road now... i also took off my jabbasport induction kit the same week so maybe thats why. but getting revo soon so anything ive lost will be made up for :D

also got -35mm springs on the way. anyone know whats a general price for fitting springs? 35mm something i should tell insurance about?

What width are the wheels?

If they're 7J, then those tyres are well too wide. 215's would be ideal for that width of rim.

It should be stamped/embossed on the wheel somewhere, & it should say 7J/7.5J/8J x 17.
