Annoying Luggage Compartment warning light

Help

has anybody got  a fix for annoying intermittent luggage compartment warning light on the dash and the accompanying warning bong when in fact all the doors and the boot are closed !

Hi it's usually the boot switch like a pin in the left hand corner iirc, unscrew it clean it put it back in, they also sometimes catch the bodywork earthing the switch when you hit bumps etc.
