« on: 20 March 2006, 11:42 »
On my great mk3 hunt which has been ssssssooooooo succesfull    i have seen a lot of cars with C/L and an Immobiliser but only a few with R/C/L....is it possible to turn a standard C/L into a remoter? Or is that some had better alarms that had the remote feature...

i'd assume only better alarms do the R/C/L linked to remote disarm.. thats how it is on my car anyways..

most alarms have the output for the CL to feed off, the only thing you MAY need to do is put a motor in the drivers door....

Vagparts.com do the VW remote bit that clips in to the exsiting connectors. No alarm though. I have one myself. £100 from -
