Bought a Mk3 GTI last week and am well pleased. It has a Sigma M800-LCV transponder immobiliser in it, which although a bit naff, has caused no problems until now...
I left the vehicle unlocked last night and when I got into it this afternoon, and turned her over she failed to start, no clicks no splutterings, just bugger all.
I have since locked the car and left her for 30 minutes before trying again. After this she started and feeling supremely confident I switched her off only for her not to turn over again, to my horror.
As far as I can see the immobiliser itself still works and recognizes both transponder units.
Unfortunately she will not turn over and I am at a loss as to what to do next..Anyone had same/ similar problems??
