ok so i spent a few hours on my knees in the rain putting my new big bumpers on what a horrible experience, but my question is why wont my fogs fit, they fit the bumper but the bumper wont go on with the them on so i had to put it on without them  :sad: what am i supposed to do about that???

have you taken off the bit of bodywork the small bumper spoiler bolts to?

its the bit of body work with the black plastic grill in it! Whats up with your DiyGti fogs? mine are alright?

Sorry can't help with your question but in reply to earlier if you have spare bumper brackets that slot on to the wing fixing on the I'll have them.

Let me know what you can do.

yeah i bought them off ebay but now i dont really need them, i`ll pm you when they arrive,

so i take off the part with the big holes in to access the front two bolts that holf the bumper on?? and  i dont replace it with anything, itll just be fine like that?

Yup all the metal valance & plastic trim visible under the small bumper needs to come off, its not present on a big bumper MK2 :)

Hey Haribo I just got to say that the front end looks a whole lot better now with the big bumper set-up. Didn't want to say anything before but with the small bumpers the car looked awfully like a MK1 Fiesta  :sick: sorry.

Can't wait to see it finished and some decent pics up now though  :smiley:

ah cheers, yeah i totally agree, it looked very odd before, it looked ok from the right angle but thats no good,

better get those fogs in today then, is it possible to do it with the bumper on?? i REALLY dont fancy taking it off again
