Oh my god I've joined the dark side!

Just bought myself an N reg MK3 GTI 8v Dragon Green 3 door  :huh:

The cab is due for MOT next month and there are so many things that need doing to get it up to standard so I decided to buy a nice run around and garage the cab for the time being. I've been using the cab as a daily for 5 years now and every year it costs me sh1t loads to get it through an MOT. Last year cost me £350 and there is even more wrong with it this time! 

The plan is to just have the cab for shows/summer car as I don't think it is suitable for the daily driving that I'm doing. Not sure when it will be back on the road again  :cry:

Paid £1000, with 130K on the clock. Really good condition, the interior is mint. A couple of marks on the outside, but will be really easy to get it looking good  :cool: Totally standard (but for how long  :grin:)

Picking it up on Saturday, I can't wait  :nerd: Will get some pics up on the weekend.

 :laugh: All the banter over the years on here with the MK1 vs MK3 jokes and me fighting the MK1 corner every time, feel kinda disloyal. I feel some stick coming my way  :laugh:
