i found an answer to my own question, if anyone wants to know they're tramont ty2's, www.tramont.fr.

they come in 13's & 14's, and anything from 5.5 to 12inches wide!!! i could have a  13*12, however tyres could be interesting.

Also those schmidts will be about 1200-1300 quid for a set, and thats a lot of money.

Are those the wheels on Prash Reddy's 1.8t mk2? they ahve the dimensions written on them don't they?

except they're 5stud with a weird little bit around the edge of each spoke. Not quite the same, tbh i think they probably are out of production since they're not on the RH website.

You got october 2003 issue of pvw lying around? Because if you do page 72 has the ones you mean i think, i can't tell exactly from the photo, they have RH on the centre caps.

I was told that these wheels are ultra rare as they are 4 studs.

Since Prash Reddy's mk2 is arguably the ultimate mk2, they are likely to be super-rare, and therefore super expensive, but i ahve to say they are really nice on a mk2. I saw an article on that car in one of the Max Power lookalike mags some time a go, and he has got this billet aluminium vw motorsport gear selector, its possibly the nicest thing i've ever seen, i want one.
