Intercooler and Turbo

Got a bit of money save and I'm thinking of changing me intercooler to a bigger front mount i think that sitting in the bumper would look cool and a better turbo has anyone done these modds before not sure what to buy?

Forge motorsport do a good front mount, its about £700 tho

If you upgrade your turbo, you will want to buy a new bi-pass valve, as the turbo size changes its settings. If you buy the valve type you wont need to take it apart to modify it, but the piston type is a bit quicker (so forge motorsport told me anyways). around £100 inc vat and del.

Thanks blokes! not so sure about the intercooler at that price I'm going to have a look about see what cars have a front mount that i can mod because I'm an ALU tig welder i can make the brackets to suit

The tdi 150 has a front mount, try this?  The problem with most front mounts is that they wont fit behind the MK4 bumper

Yeah mate i looked at one of these on a show room forecourt bloke who worked their thought i was mad. Just been offered a KO3S turbo supposed to be 180bhp is this correct and would it fit OK

Probably not what you're after but, Awesome's 300bhp 1.8T is onyl using the Forge wing mount intercooler, so it must be ok and they're around £400 IIRC.
