i give up how do i get the stereo out

will my sony fit straight in it looks quite big
and how do i cahnge the time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

stereo comes out with by pushing a thin piece of metal (if you haven't got the special key ) on either side of the stereo. look for a slot next to the track skip/fast forward button and same on other side. push in your key and put your hand in the tape deck and pull when the keys are both in.

to change time twist the left hand knob on the dash one way for hour, the other way for mins

If youi don't fancy the metal trick the removal keys are about £3 from the stealers

all done now thanks..
didnt have a manual in the car  :angry:
whats that litlle toggle on the right arm trip computer
cant quite work out what its all about
its got a diameter sign and a 1 and 2 !!!!!!!!!!!!
sorry if i sound a bit thick but its my first golf

and i looooovvvvvveeee   it   :laugh:

1 is your lifetime readout - shows u MPG, average speed etc over 99hours and then it resets. 

2 is your current MPG, av speed etc etc and resets if you don't drive the car within 2 hours of the last time u drive it

its one way round or the other!! lol

easiets way is to get a photobucket account - www.photobucket.com its FREE  :smiley:
take some pics and upload them to that then copy and paste the 3rd line of text below the pic into the sig within your profile settings.
Job done :smiley:
