help!! how do you take off the wheel??

hi all, maybe i am being a retard but i am trying to change my snaped wiper stalk, i have taken off the steering wheel which was alan boted to the hub, now when i try and undo the big nut which is holding the hub on the whole thing moves?? how do i get round this? should i have a special tool? help!!  :smiley:

i was the one who was being a special tool! lol got it off now!  :rolleyes:

 I remember the first time i changed a steering wheel. I took the nut right off and pulled with all my might.  nothing.  so pushed the seat back braced my feet and I pulled again,  it moved a bit then came flying towards my face at about 90mph and hit me in the chin.  :angry:

my dad then told me "don't take the nut all the way off , just loosen it first". 

lesson learned   :laugh:

Snap lol but it wasn't my dad and it took a few attempts to learn!!!

Probably got lost in the "Great Crash of 08
