i dont think those 2 cars are in the same league really, the skyline is a mental jap built thing, but the golf is more or a relaible but fun car.
a r32 is in more of the same leauge (altho more expensive), or a supercharged vr6 maybe? a few of those about for 4-5k
the problem with jap imports is therey often have no history and have had years of thrashing and when they do go wrong you will struggle finding parts and they wont be cheap!!!!
