Hi on the 2.0gti is it possible to fit air con and if so anyone know how much (even if a rough guide)? I know it would be costly but i've seen the car i want but unluckily only has a sun roof.
Cheers
Adam

Air Con is a pig of a job to retro-fit and i think wouldn't be worth doing. by the time you've forked out for all the parts etc you could have just bought a car with A/C already fitted!!
Keep looking and the right car will eventually turn up!!

Find one with no sunroof & a/c. (Sunroof's weigh a ton, & dramatically increase the cars' drag when they're open). These cars pop up all the time..... Just need to be patient.

lol when i was looking for my golf i looked at many 2.0 and they were all nice most out of my price range but i refused to buy a car without A/C since i got heat stroke one summer in my stupid XR2i when we had that really, REALLY hot weather, i was sooo ill that day from being stuck in a traffic jam for 45mins in 40c heat

I would not consider buying a car without air con - when I started looking about for a Golf (still am) I was surprised that some GTis did not have air con as standard - GTi is not exactly a basic spec after all.
