Evenin' all.  the name's Matt and I don't drive a mk1.  Just a clever name then?  Well I did have a mk1 once, well, most of one anyway...

Anyway, enough about me.  The current car is a '94 Avantgarde cabrio.  It's changed a bit since I first got it and now has the following spec:

Full heated leather interior (factory standard!)
Electric roof with blue mohair covering
16" Ibiza Cupra rims
-40mm H&R springs with G-Max front shocks and Bilstein rear shocks
Miltek stainless cat-back system
Pipercross carbon fibre induction kit
De-arched bodywork (done since photos)
VR front spoiler (done since photos)
Mk4 look headlamps
Crystal Fogs/Indicators
Crystal M3 rear lights
A few shiny bits inside

Here's a standard pic, soon after I got it:

And here's the most recent set I've got:

Plans are:
Fit the lowering caps I've got in the garage to drop the front a bit more
Fit my TT comps after I've got them polished
Smooth and spray the bumpers

Comments please...

Welcome aboard.

I'm also not a big mk3 or mk3 cab fan, but what you've done makes it look so much better than it was standard. I like the wheels but with the comps on it will look even better. Good work.
......now officially dubless.
