MFA prob...
« on: 02 May 2003, 20:39 »
If I set the digital clock on my MFA to the correct time, The next time I start the car, say two-three hours later, the hours on the clock have jumped randomly.  No matter how many times I reset the clock, The time always jumps.

Hope this makes sense?!!
Can anybody shed any light on the situation?

Cheers.

I have that problem too. The hours jump, but the minutes stay the same.

Also sometimes the MPG will be mega low like <10. The oil temp will be 200+ and the outside temp 50+. I've noticed in the mornings it does this most. Could be something to do with the cold in the mornings?

I've disconnected the battery 100's of times, but no joy.

Mine wouldn't do anything except display the wrong time. Until I left the lights on and got a flat battery, then when I jump started it, the MFA has died completely. I think I've murdered it!

Push the sliding button on the wiper control to the far right, and the far left.(not the button on the end)

This will reset both indications on the MFA.

Regards.
