02A from a 16v mk2 Ibiza... seat boys seems  to charge less...

you don't wanna collect, it's in middlesbrough! he quoted me £40 for p&p but unfortunately wasn't available for when I needed it.

I do have a newer engine, but god knows how old the gearbox is that's attached to it. There was a fair bit of play in the selector part so it's likely it had several thousand miles on it...

is this the one with the dodgey selector dom?

Add mine too, Blew the alternator on the way back from southend and ace cafe early sunday morning. Replaced it last night then managed to loose a wheel arch 20mins down the road so its back to the bodyshop  :embarassed:

hahahaha fielders a c**k. sorry but he is just a tit. What a waste of forum space for that moron.

no mine's the one with the dodgy selector, and it's done 150k miles so maybe that's an indication for your broken one? The 100k I'm replacing it with is absolutely fine (or at last was until I started playing with it but I'm sure the garage will fix it!).

The one from middlesbrough is one I found on the seat forums which I was going to buy, just ran out of time.

I think I'll stick with this G60 one. sounds good enough and been told the ratios are spot on for my engine
